True Woman '14: Nancy Leigh DeMoss—Jesus, What a Wonderful Name!
This Scripture recitation about the life of Jesus was given by Nancy Leigh DeMoss (@nancydemoss) at the True Woman ’14 National Women’s Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 9, 2014 (#TrueWoman14). Nancy appropriately titled this recitation, “Jesus, What a Wonderful Name.” Over the course of thirty minutes, Nancy quoted from memory over 200 verses about Jesus Christ. Beginning in Matthew 1:1 and jumping back and forth between Old Testament prophecies and New Testament fulfillments, she shared His story from eternity past to humble beginnings as a babe in a manger to the cross to the grave to His triumphant resurrection over death to His return as conquering King. Throughout the recitation, names of Jesus were expressed in calligraphy by Timothy Botts. Musical accompaniment was provided by Jay Rouse (piano) and Deborah Klemme (violin) of the Getty's band.Be amazed not only by His name but by His life. What a wonderful Savior He is!
