I Love Being Selfish - MGTOWMGTOW Mystery Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iI4mC33xWhQHi Everyone Sandman Here,This video is brought to you by a donation from the Shoveler and here's what he has to say: "Hi Sandman, In my journey, I have struggled with a concept that I haven't heard you or other MGTOW producers grapple with; Obligation. I grew up heavily influenced by my Grandparents and have admired their generation. I've watched a lot of older films, and discussed with WWII era people relationship values. It seems that the older generation did think there were obligations to society, family, church, and state. People took pride in doing their part. During the World War Two era people had to ration food. Husbands had to go over seas to fight. Families lost sons, but everyone seemed to feel that there was a responsibility and obligation to contribute to the greater good. Society has changed, and the focus has shifted from the betterment of mankind, to a more isolated and individual outlook. People, both men and women are demanding more and more out of a partner. Men complain that women don't hold up their end of the bargain, and women complain about the same things. I have come to realize that most people no longer feel they are obligated to do anything. I read an old wise tale as a kid that went something like this. An old farmer split his farm into three and gave equal portions to his three sons. The kids didn't feel any obligation to help the other, and they all worked essentially alone. They were failing and arguing about how their other brothers were not helping them. Finally the old man held a family meeting and he tied three smaller twigs together and asked each son to break it over his knee. None could do it. He separated the twigs and asked them to just break one alone, and all of the twigs broke easily. Feminism and MGTOW are movements that promote being selfish, refusing to take up responsibilities or obligations for the greater good of society. I don't think anyone is happy now. Feminists with their coloured hair and house full of cats, and men who are lonely and have lover dolls hidden in their closets. There are a lot of people getting wounded in the crossfire, then choosing one negative side or the other. But I don't think this is a battle anyone will win. Everyone is losing. Cultures with stronger family bonds may one day beat out our consumeristic and individualistic one. As individuals going our own way, do you think that responsible women and men could find each other and resist the temptation to become greedy and egocentric? Or do you think there is no way to resist putting ourselves first and ignoring the needs of everyone else?" Well Shoveler thanks for another donation and topic request. All of this started after the second World War. That's when subdivisions destroyed communities and the automobile destroyed neighborhoods. Nationalism was also seen as negative because everyone was worried about the rise of another fascist dictator somewhere in the world.10 images licensed and paid for through BigStock.com.
