I HAVE BEEN BASHED FOR FEATURING EFYA & AKWABOA ON A GOSPEL SONG- CELESTINE DONKOR
Since the release of my new song titled "THANK YOU" Which features a combination of talented gospel and secular artists like Maa Cynthia(Daughters of glorious Jesus), Efya, Akwaboa, Ashley Chucks, Victor & Eyram- I have received very unfortunate comments from key industry people, gospel bloggers and even some Christian TV channels have refused to play the song because I featured secular artist. This is really sad and a big disappointment to the purpose of the gospel. Bible says every good and perfect gift comes from God. I don't think anyone has the right to stop any human from singing a Thank you song to God. Well, I am very focused on my calling, carreer and divine assignment regardless of what people say. At the end of the day ONLY GOD HAS THE FINAL SAY- SO LET HIM BE THE FINAL JUDGE.However it is important to explain that my purpose for featuring these artist are that, first, The lord laid it upon my heart the same way I was led to featured Gideon on Agbebolo song. secondly, the lyrics of the song is all about "THANKING GOD" for seeing US ALL through a difficult covid year. I wanted to unite with these musicians in giving thanks to God. I felt Efya, who had prophecy that she was gonna die in 2020 and she lived would be the best person to express appreciation and Thanksgiving from her soul unto God.Dear Christians,The gospel of Christ is a free gift of his unconditional love to ALL humanity. No one should be stopped from entering the gospel fraternity with their personality or talents. The God who has power to save says "LET ALL SOULS COME UNTO HIM" Let us put a stop to this primitive and unnecessary judgemental criticisms towards people. Let us relieve them in love and open arms, because we never know the ways of God and how He chooses to Sace this people we call "Ewiasefo(worldly people)" This is a shame! This modern day "PHARASEESM" MUST STOP!
